WHEN AND WHERE

Saturday, February 25th, 2012 - 8:00AM until 4:30PM.

York Community High School, 355 W. St. Charles Rd., Elmhurst, IL

(two stop-lights east of IL RT 83 on St. Charles Rd.)

 

A hot lunch will be provided.

 

 

Registration:

Early: January 28th through February 5th - $25.00 per person

For Scouts from Potawatomi Trails District or Scouts sponsored by an MBU instructor

 

Open: February 6th through February 17th - $30.00 per person - Open to all Scouts

 

Onsite: For new Scouts registering for First Class Trail ONLY- $30.00 per Scout

 

Registration is open to all Boy Scouts on a first come first serve basis.

 

Due to the complexity of scheduling Merit Badge University, we cannot honor requests to schedule groups, buddies, entire troops or entire patrols into classes.  All scheduling is done on an individual Scout basis.  Units are strongly encouraged to submit their registrations as a group when using online registration (see Scoutmaster's Batch Register).

 

Fees:

Early registration fee is $25.00 per person, and $30.00 after February 5th.  The fee includes a hot lunch and the official 2012 MBU patch.    If offered, there is an additional charge for scuba.  

 

Incomplete registrations, early out-of-district registrations, and registrations that are not paid within 10 days may be cancelled and the class reservations will be released.  There are absolutely no refunds after February 17th.

 

Payment:

All payments must be received by the close of registration on Feb. 17th regardless of  how or when you registered.  Online payments will be accepted through Feb 17th.  There are absolutely no refunds after the close of registration. Payments can no longer be made at the Scout Shops.  Only online payments will be accepted.

 

Please Note:  It is strongly recommended that you have someone drop you off the day of MBU, as parking at York High School will be very limited. Only those with a pass will be allowed to park in front of the school.  If you choose to drive, you can park near the tracks to the west of the campus, or on a side street off-campus.

 

New this year: All adult class will be held at Elmhurst College. (see Adult Training Academy link to left)

 

Attention:

A Scout is Trustworthy: If you are not associated with a PT-district troop and you register early (before 2/6/12), your registration may be cancelled, your classes released, and your payment returned.
